    The Geumgang River, which originates from Mulsu-ri, Jangsu-gun, North Jeolla Province, flows through Muju, North Jeolla Province, and Jinan, then through North Chungcheong Province and South Chungcheong Province. A long, large stream of 402km long flowing from Wengbongsaem to Geumgang Estuary in Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do.
